Year 6 SATs Results 2017

There were 44 children in our Year 6 cohort and there were significant levels of vulnerability:

11/44 (25%) had a special educational need or disability (SEND)

11/44 (25%) had English as an additional language (EAL); 3 of these children also had SEND

13/44 (30%) were eligible for the pupil premium; 5 of these children also had SEND, 2 also had EAL and 1 had SEND and EAL

Regardless of the level of vulnerability, the percentage of our children achieving the expected standard for Reading, Writing and Mathematics combined was 61%, which is the same as the percentage of children nationally.  In addition 11% of our children achieved greater depth in Reading, Writing and Mathematics combined, which is higher than the 9% nationally.  Our Writing results show a massive improvement compared to 2016 due to the focus and drive of our children and teachers.
