Adults at St. Ebbe’s view behaviour as communication first and foremost and children experience visible kindness in every interaction. We work with children to solve problems collaboratively, teaching them how to be kind and compassionate people.
Adults co-regulate with children when necessary and teach self-regulation through agreed whole-school approaches such as Zones of Regulation and Restorative Practice. We have clear systems in place to support children exhibiting challenging behaviour to minimise disruption to learning.
